Marked Hamilton Manufacturing Two Rivers. This set of 100 wood letter press letters were found in a box and have not been used in more than 60 years. Each block is 1 3/4 of an inch tall. These were in a box where on the lid was written that they came from the Freeport Journal in Freeport, PA. This is the town of 2000 residents along the Allegheny River in western Pennsylvania. The Freeport Journal published it’s first issue in 1876 and it’s last issue in 1959. This set is beautiful and the patina on the wood is awesome all I had to do was clean the dust off to bring it out. It’s hard to part with these but I know there are collectors who would love to have them, please ask me questions!!
