From a local Estate. A used 1970s Kingsley hot foil stamping machine, appears to be the M-50 model but not positive, comes with three boxes of type set (18 pt Century & 18 pt Goudy), napkin guide, and 26 rolls of foil for paper and others for vinyl, also comes with a user’s guide (1977), the machine had been plugged in and the temperature goes up fine, the style of the cord makes me think that it is not up to today’s code (and it was also repaired at one point, see last picture), it had not been tested with the foil, It appears to be complete but some small pieces might be missing. See all pictures for better details. From online research: The first Kingsley Hot Stamp Machine appeared in the 1930’s, designed by Lewis A. He created the machine specifically to imprint fountain pens, and there is still a special type font called Fountain Pen. But during World War II, many of the Kingsley Hot Stamp machines were re-tooled into wire markers to imprint narrow gauge wire used in wire harness manufacturing by the aviation industry. And they are still used for this purpose, but the currently produced machines are large technical automated models. However, vintage or not and used or not, Kingsley Hot Stamp machines continue to be very functional. They are very easy to use, and are famous for their dependability and longevity.
